1. Overview

At Nena’s Kitchen, we ship freshly prepared, frozen, and perishable meals from our kitchen in Doral, Florida, ensuring safe delivery to your door.
All orders are packed in insulated boxes with ice packs or dry ice to preserve quality and freshness during transit.

Currently, we ship within the United States only. We do not ship to the U.S. territories, Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations at this time.


2. Processing Times

  • Orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Orders placed after 12 p.m. EST, on weekends, or holidays are processed the next business day.

  • Processing hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST.

  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.


3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Zones

Local Delivery (Miami-Dade & Broward Counties)

  • Delivered by our refrigerated partners within 2 business days after dispatch.

  • Minimum order: $50.

  • Delivery window: Monday – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Delivery cost: varies by ZIP code (calculated at checkout).

Statewide & Regional Shipping (Florida & East Coast)

  • Shipped via UPS Ground or similar carriers, with 2–4 day transit time.

  • Minimum order: $75.

  • Handling fee: $10 (includes insulated packaging and ice packs).

Nationwide Shipping (Central & East U.S.)

  • Orders outside Florida are shipped via UPS Ground or equivalent.

  • Minimum order: $100.

  • Handling fee: $15 (includes insulated packaging and dry ice).

  • These orders are shipped only on Mondays to ensure cold-chain safety.

  • ❌ We currently do not ship to the West Coast (California, Oregon, Washington, etc.) due to extended transit times for frozen foods.


4. Shipping Rates & Handling Fee

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on location and weight.

  • A $15 handling fee applies to cover insulated packaging and dry ice.

  • Orders over $250 (before tax) qualify for free handling (shipping cost only).


5. Delivery & Risk of Loss

All orders are shipped frozen and should arrive cold to the touch or partially frozen.
If you are not home at delivery, the carrier may leave the package at your door — please unpack and refrigerate/freezer items immediately.

Once the package is marked as delivered by the carrier, ownership and risk pass to you.
We are not responsible for packages left outside for extended periods or delays due to incorrect addresses, weather, or carrier issues.


6. Damaged or Delayed Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, thawed, or incorrect, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number, and

  • Photos of the outer box, inner packaging, and product condition.

Approved claims will receive a replacement or refund according to our [Return & Refund Policy].


7. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping details.
We cannot refund or reship orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

If you realize an error before shipping, contact us immediately at shop@nkfood.com — we’ll do our best to update it before dispatch.


8. Delivery Schedule Updates

Because we use both local couriers and national carriers, delivery schedules may vary.
You can track your order anytime via your confirmation email.


9. Shipping Restrictions

  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or outside the continental U.S.

  • We do not offer international shipping at this time.
